Interdimensional Gas Station is a narrative-driven management game where players operate a gas station floating on a drifting asteroid in the middle of a dark void. As you fuel up bizarre alien ships, you'll interact with travelers from across the galaxy, uncovering their stories and shaping the fate of the universe through your choices.

What inspired the game?

The idea sparked from a late-night walk when we stumbled upon a lone ice machine glowing in the darkness. It felt like a mysterious, transitionary point for travelers. That eerie yet fascinating atmosphere stuck with us, eventually evolving into the concept of a gas station as the only beacon of light in a vast void.

How does storytelling work in the game?

Instead of following a single storyline, the game features hundreds of unique character-driven narratives. Your actions—whether it's helping a traveler, misleading them, or ignoring their requests—can influence how these stories unfold, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.

What is the gameplay like?

Inspired by games like Papers, Please, the gameplay revolves around managing an intergalactic gas station. Each alien ship has specific needs, and as the game progresses, these requirements become more complex. Instead of traditional dialogue options, your actions—such as providing directions or choosing which ships to serve—directly impact the narrative.

Can I try the game before release?

Yes! We're launching a playable demo next month, which will feature full storylines, win/lose conditions, ending cutscenes, and a complete gameplay loop. Stay tuned for more details!

• Begin by simply refueling alien ships, before widening your range of services, to complete the more complex amenities that such ships require. Complete these tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible to make as much money as possible before the day ends.
• Your strategic decisions and interactions will influence the larger narrative, presenting unique challenges and opportunities. As you manage the daily operations and engage with diverse characters, you'll uncover secrets and navigate the intricate web of interstellar politics.
• At the end of each day, you must pay dues to the Galactic Gas Federation, an agency of gas station owners that have unionized. The Galactic Gas Federation attempts to protect gas station owners from the nefarious evil-doers of the galaxy, unless you don't pay your dues.
